Early Excellence for EYFS
All training is new and, as this is the fourth year of the Ebor Multi Academy Trust partnership with Early Excellence, we are aware the majority of practitioners now have all the basics. This new set of programmes will extend thinking and focus on the new framework.
Programme overview
September 2021 sees the statutory implementation of the revised EYFS. Over the past year, we have familiarised ourselves with both the DfE documentation and the supporting materials that have been released – but as the year goes on, there will still be much to discuss and reflect upon as we shape and move our practice and provision forward. From the renewed focus on early language and extending vocabulary, through to unpicking the new ELGs and the inevitable questions about tracking and assessment – these termly sessions will focus on the current “hot topics”. Moving forward, the sessions will be shaped around the key priorities and aspects identified by the delegates, which means that schools will be well placed to effectively implement the new curriculum.
