Early Excellence for EYFS
All training is new and, as this is the fourth year of the Ebor Academy Trust partnership with Early Excellence, we are aware the majority of practitioners now have all the basics. This new set of programmes will extend thinking and focus on the new framework.
Programme overview
These sessions will draw on the latest research findings and explore the key steps involved in early language development. Consider the processes involved in holding a ‘conversation’, vocabulary enrichment and how we can successfully support quality talk within provision.
The programme will be split into 3 sessions:

| Session 2 | The impact of the learning environment. Understand the impact of the learning environment on children’s language and communication. | Wednesday 2nd February 2022 4:00-5:30pm |
| Session 3 | Action planning for practice and provision. Reflect on potential changes to practice and provision which will best support the development of children’s speech, language and communication. | Wednesday 6th April 2022 4:00-5:30pm |
