Course aims
To gain knowledge and confidence in dealing with a first aid incident/accident for both Adult and Child.
Course overview
- Managing the scene of an emergency situation
- How to report an accident
- Looking after an unconscious person
- How to use an AED, resuscitation, recovery position
- Burns and scalds, eye injury, choking,
- Seizures, head injury, fractures, control of bleeding, asthma
- Anaphylactic shock, how to use an Epi pen
- First Aid kits
Everyone will receive:
- A Full Paediatric First Aid certificate
- An Epi Pen certificate
- An Emergency First Aid at Work certificate
- An AID certificate
Lunch will be provided

Teachers, TAs, playgroup leaders, nursery staff, childminders, school office staff
