A practical session outdoors so please dress appropriately, led by Emma at Wildthings
Focus on fire lighting – have a go at some simple techniques from making a spark to sustaining a flame, pick fellow member’s brains, all abilities, and questions welcome.
Feel free to send questions in advance, whether you can attend or not, so there’s a chance we might have the equipment you want to try or can ask someone for advice on your behalf.
A diverse group meeting half termly to discuss and have a go at a wide range of activities that would be useful to those running Forest School and other Outdoor Learning experiences in schools and other settings in and around the York area. A mixture of indoor meetings and outdoor more practical sessions based on current issues and the CPD needs of the group.
