Session overview
This session will consider how we manage performance effectively and equip delegates with the skills to manage the performance of those they manage in a supportive and inspiring way. We will consider how we should observe lessons, what form feedback should take, as well as how we should manage challenging conversations with colleagues.
Session aims
- Learn ways of managing and leading colleagues and knowing what the difference is between these concepts and ways of working.
- Understand and practice ways of having difficult conversations
- Understand, apply and evaluate what setting effective targets for performance management can look like.
- Be able to evaluate the impact you have on your colleagues and your students.
