Session overview
A day of Maths at a FREE conference. Bringing together maths educational professionals from across the region, the day will be filled with thought provoking keynote speeches, practical workshops and valuable learning experiences.
Keynote speakers on the day:
Dr Debbie Morgan CBE – NCETM’s Director for Primary Maths
Dr Sue Gifford – Renowned Early Years researcher and Principal Lecturer in Mathematics Education at the University of Roehampton.
Gareth Metcalfe – Creator of the inspirational ‘I See Maths’ website
Peter Mattock – Specialist leader of Education and author of ‘Visible Maths’
Robert Wilne – Lead Teacher for Outreach at Kings College London Maths School
The conference is for teachers from all phases working in schools in North Yorkshire, York and the East Riding and is free to attend for state funded schools.
